THE GREEN ROOM MOVEMENT evolved from a series of annual, highly-anticipated social events skillfully-produced by Demetris Faison, The Designer Himself, Principal Designer and Luxury Event Planner as an elevated networking experience for entrepreneurs and professionals. Since its inception in December 2020, The Green Room Movement has grown into a multi-city series of curated events including intimate socials and black tie affairs.
The movement is driven by Faison's passion and desire to build, promote financial and intellectual wealth among entrepreneurs and professionals within elevated, non-traditional networking environments.
In the Spring of 2023, the Road to the Green Room, comprised of an All White Day Party and Creative Black Tie Affair, served as the prelude to the inaugural Green Room Conference and Gala occurring December 2023.
THE OVERVIEW
The Green Room is a black tie networking event and benefit gala produced by De’Veilope Event Design and Consulting. The annual event attracts several hundred guests for a creative social experience set in an elevated atmosphere accompanied by live entertainment, fine cuisine, and hand crafted cocktails.
THE DESIGNER HIMSELF
Demetris Faison, Principal Planner and Designer of De’Veilope Events, started in the event consulting and design business over 18 years ago. Since 2004, he has contributed to more than 1,000 luxury events including intimate affairs, weddings, and corporate galas many of which have gone viral, attracting global recognition from followers and fans abroad.
He was born and raised in North Carolina and has been blessed to come from a long lineage of talented and gifted musicians. This creative influence had a profound effect on him at an early age to pursue the performing arts including music and theater. Faison admits that he always had a passion for creativity and started out designing events in high school. Not long after making his debut as an event designer, many who admired his work began commissioning his services sparking a desire for him to launch his own business. His staff which began as his immediate family and friends has grown to a diverse team of employees and consultants with over 50 years of experience combined serving a diverse clientele that includes community leaders, celebrities, and major corporations such as Google, Target, The American Cancer Society, and The Universal Hip Hop Museum to name a few.
